Fashion is an art which is common to all. However, how effectively we do it is the topic here. Some time back, when I completed my schooling to enter into my graduation course, I had this fever to dress the best. However, I didn't have much idea on how to accomplish it resulting which, I committed a few blunders that turned me into a clown. That's when one of my friend's Mark who is a fashion connoisseur taught me the basics to bring out the best in me. The blog is a short description of the styling mistakes made by me. Ill fitting clothes
I'm an average weight person. So, I thought tight-fitting clothes make me look fatter as they accentuate your belly and side fat. So, I started donning loose-fitting clothes. However, the results were opposite. They made me look even bigger. I was confused on how to get over this fitting problem. That's when I started getting my outfits stitched by a professional tailor. He altered at the right places to solve this issue.
Improper pants length
I used to fold up my jeans at the end to avoid the unwanted fraying. That's when Mark advised me to get the pants hemmed instead.
The Wrong belt color
I didn't know that the belt color has to match with my dress shoes. I wore completely different colors for the prom nights where people started laughing at me. No one bothered to tell me or advise me on the same. Once, to the college, I donned a similar style. That's when my good friend, Mark made me understand this concept.
Socks and sandals
This is the worst thing I have done till now. The guys in my class thought that I was sick and feeling cold.
Printed tees
Mark usually says, "Cartoon printed tees look good only if you are advertising the characters." And that was the last time I donned my Popeye t-shirt to college.
Unflattering Grooming styles
I don't know what hairstyle I had in school but, as far as I remember, it was just a disaster. My buddy took me to the salon where they completed sculpted a new me. I had a sexy hair and a beard style as well.
I didn't know that even underwear mattered in styling
Yes! Seriously. Again, my rescue explained me that to get the perfect bulge under the pants, it is necessary to don the right undergarment. He suggested Pouch underwear for men which presented an impressive front profile. Believe me or not, there was a lot of approaches from hot girls in my college.
